"Dr. Ashleigh Neill has delivered training sessions in the use of social media for researchers and creative methods to communicate one's research at the Thomas J. Moran Graduate School QUB. The feedback from these sessions is excellent, with the students very enthused about the delivery and the challenging ‘tweet your thesis’ competition. Dr. Neill uses her extensive experience as an illustrator and her expertise as a researcher to encourage students to use innovative communication methods and widen their audience beyond the walls of academia. 36 PhD students from various Schools and Faculties at Queen's University Belfast have participated in the competition, and 6 students have been awarded with prizes for the quality and reach of their research tweets. We have been delighted with Ashleigh’s training and are looking forward to future collaborations." — Dr. Fabiana Fausto McCracken and Donna Hyland
“We invited Dr. Ashleigh Neill to deliver training sessions to our RELAX-DN Marie Curie Doctoral Network on using social media, and it was both informative and inspiring. Ashleigh has an engaging presentation style and she shared some really practical tips on how to effectively share research and build a professional online presence. Her ability to tailor the session to our specific needs was particularly valuable, and we left feeling motivated to enhance our social media strategy. I highly recommend Ashleigh’s training to any researcher looking to leverage social media in their work.” — Prof. Hans Vandierendonck
